Audio coding related projects we had done so far are the following:

• Development of MPEG-I (Layer 1 & 2) audio codecs
• Development of MP3 decoder for a fixed point DSP and media embedded processor
• Development of AAC decoder
• Development of Ogg Vorbis decoder
• Optimization of MPEG1/2 (Layer 1, 2 & 3) decoder
• Optimization of MPEG1/2 (Layer 3) encoder

Speech coding related projects we had done so far are the following:

• PCM (ITU-T G.711) codec for a floating point DSP

Developed PCM Codec using floating point DSP. Codec was based on ITU-T G.711 (64 kbps, A/U-Law).

• ADPCM (ITU-T G.726/G.721) codec for floating point DSP & Custom VLSI

ADPCM codec was developed based on ITU-T G.726/G.721. Bit rates supported were 40, 32,24 & 16 kbps. Processors used were floating point DSP & Custom VLSI.

• Development of proprietary algorithms for ADM

Proprietary algorithms were developed based on CVSD (Continuously Variable Slope Delta modulation). Multi-channel Full duplex codec at bit rates of 16/32 kbps. Processor was floating point DSP.

• Speech Transcoding from PCM to ADM

Multi-channel Transcoding of speech from PCM to ADM and vice versa was carried out using a single DSP. Sampling rate conversion (Interpolation/ Decimation) was carried using Digital filters.
