Development of PictBridge host verification tool

PictBridge is an industry standard of the CIPA to allow direct printing of images from imaging devices (DSC Digital Still Camera) to output devices (Printers).

The features of the test tool we had developed are:

  • Verifies embedded Pictbridge stack
  • Emulates Printer running on PC
  • Includes SIC, PTP and DPS layers of Pictbridge system
  • Provides option to execute Layer commands. Tool is developed using 'C' for all layers
  • User friendly GUI
